Sublime Smoke Fine BBQ and Craft Brew has grown from a food truck & 14 seat carryout to its current footprint of 50 guests indoors and 40 patio/picnic seats. Patrons are greeted as they arrive and will order at our checkout counter. Guests can then seat themselves in the main dining room & bar, home to 16 taps and up to 100 craft beer selections from Ohio and rest of the USA. Our food runners will then deliver the meals and check in periodically to see if anything else is needed. Full table service is not provided. Our BBQ is 100% wood fired, with a blend of oak, hickory, and cherry lending smooth wood flavor to all meats that we prepare on site. All sauces and side dishes are made in house as well. Make sure that you leave room for a warm cast iron cookie, and make it a la mode if you are feeling indulgent.

Bolivar has several fine restaurants, and originally, I didn't think Sublime Smoke was my style, but we had a great experience there. We order the beef brisket sandwich without bread and two of us shared the 5.5 ounce of excellent beef. The meals are all ala cart so we chose mac-n-cheese for my friend (who's not gluten sensitive) and potato salad for me.The sun shines through large, antique store front windows with a view of the quiet, Canal Street. We'll definitely go back again.

Anytime I'm home to see family I make sure to stop here. Whether I'm getting the staple Pork Sundae, or trying one of the latest specials (most recent one I had was a Spicy Sweet-and-Sour Pork Steak Pasta), I've never been disappointed. The vast beer selection (both on draft, and bottled) is ever expanding and changing, so I always get to try something new. Friendly staff, clean dining room, and a large outdoor seating area all just add to an already Sublime experience. This last trip I stopped on the way to the airport and got a burrito to go so I'd have something better than expensive airport food during my layover. My bag was flagged by security, searched, and burrito removed and scanned by itself. Fortunately delicious isn't a crime, so I was able to take it with me. Let me just say, 10/10, would have my burrito xrayed again so I can eat wonderful food at the airport.

The food was amazing! I had the beef brisket and it was smoked to perfection. My friend had the ribs and those tasted amazing as well. We both had the bread pudding as well. Definitely will be coming down there on our next bikepacking ride south.

Questions & Answers

I don't think so. Mostly BBQ and pizza. But I recommend it!

Yes they do

No crispy chicken. Great brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken. And a great selection of craft beers.
